Wellness Challenges & Workshops

At the YMCA, we know that not every person is motivated by the same things. We also know that having a supportive group of like-minded friends can help you achieve goals you never thought were possible! Our wellness challenges and workshops are held throughout the year. They focus on different areas of strength, different types of workouts and nutrition.

February 15 - March 15
Mondays & Wednesdays 12:15pm-1pm

Intimated by the weight room? Are you afraid to lift weights because you don't want to bulk up? This female-focused class will introduce you to the weight room and weight lifting techniques that will help you meet your specific goal. A certified personal trainer will instruct you on proper form, technique, and a variety of lifts for each muscle group. The program will help you to become more confident and comfortable in training in the free weight area!

Looking to make healthy changes in your life, but haven't quite figured out where to start? Caroline Salamone is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, who is eager to help you reach your personal goals. We are offering 30 minute and hour long sessions, where you'll receive the necessary tools to create healthy lifestyle changes in regards to diet, exercise, sleep, stress, relationships and more.  A health coach helps you stay accountable and learn how to establish and maintain healthy habits.
