The YMCA of Rock River Valley turns no one away because of their inability to pay. With a focus on building spirit, mind, and body for all, the Y offers fitness opportunities as well as Safety Around Water (swim lessons), and wellness classes for those who are seeking fitness. In addition, the Y is the largest child care provider in the area, making nurturing, developmentally appropriate care available to those who might not be able to pay otherwise. For older adults, the Y is a place to banish isolation and find friendship, fulfillment, and belonging. In the summer and on days off school, Camp Winnebago offers day camp to help all kids gain confidence and acceptance along with fun in the outdoors, away from screens.
