In 2020, our camp family suffered a devastating loss when our friend Kim Menke passed away. Kim was the proud mother of two children, Carson and Ellyn, who grew up at Camp Winnebago, and she served on camp's advisory council for several years. In her role as a council member, Kim volunteered countless hours and advocated for all children to have the opportunity to attend camp.
We are honored to build this memorial fire pit made possible by a generous donation from the Menke family. Kim's commitment to our mission will live on through this gift, which will ultimately provide hundreds of children the chance to experience camp.
Purchasing a brick is a wonderful way for you to leave your own lasting legacy at camp. Engraved bricks are a special way to recognize friends and family members, and serve as a timeless remembrance of your commitment to strengthening our community.
Funds raised from brick sales benefit will help grant Kim's wish that every child, no matter their ability to pay, can have a camp experience.
