Participants 16 and older work in small groups with an instructor to meet individual goals for water comfort and skill development. Group interaction encourages personal growth, skill development, and fun. We offer two combination levels.
Adult Level 1/2
Perfect for the student not comfortable going under water or floating on their front and back. Students work on water acclimation, developing comfort with underwater discovery, and entering and exiting the water. Students then work on water movement, focusing on body position, directional change, and forward movement. 30 minute lesson.
Adult Level 3/4
Perfect for the student comfortable under water, who is working on swimming 15 yards or more. Students work on swimming 15 yards on their front and back. Rhythmic breathing is then introduced, as well as treading water, and new swim strokes. 40 minute lesson.
