LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA

The YMCA and the LIVESTRONG® Foundation are partners in healing the whole person. LIVESTRONG at the Y is a program designed to help cancer survivors move beyond the disease in spirit, mind and body.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a free program tailored to meet the specific needs of adult cancer survivors who would like to improve and reclaim their health before, during, and after treatment. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants meet twice a week in small groups to exercise, enhance functional ability, and improve energy levels. The classes are led by certified instructors who have completed specialized YMCA of the USA training in elements of cancer, rehabilitative exercise, and supportive cancer care.
