The Y welcomes One Body Collaboratives to its new home within the SwedishAmerican Riverfront YMCA.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on September 5. One Body Collaboratives is a faith based non profit with a mission to "Mobilize, Further Develop, and Coordinate Church and Community Resources To Rebuild Lives and Transform Our Community."
The organization's Resource Coordination Center has relocated to the downtown Y. The move will allow for expanded
programming and to increase the volunteer base. This means additional individuals and families in our community will be served.
Each year the One Body Collaboratives Resource Coordination Center meets the needs of over 1,500 local individuals and families in need. This is achieved in coordination with over 100
local churches, 40 ministry partners and over 120 local agencies.
The Y welcomes this organization to its campus - together we aim to strengthen our community one individual at a time.
